Our Farmers
MOUNTAIN MILK IS BUILT ON THE DEDICATION OF LOCAL FARMING FAMILIES
Each farm has its own story, but all share the same commitment to quality, care and the land they call home.
Meet the people behind the milk.

The Crosthwaite's
“We love what we do and we’re proud of where we do it.”
A fifth-generation farmer, Stuart has deep roots in the Kiewa Valley and a strong vision for the future of dairy.
Stuart grew up on the same land he now works, carrying forward decades of family knowledge while continuing to invest in new practices and technology. For Stuart, being part of Mountain Milk is about more than farming, it’s about shaping a future where farmers have control over their own destiny.

The Hollaway's
“Every day is different, but the goal is always the same, healthy animals and quality milk.”
Sarah balances farm life with family, bringing care and attention to every part of the operation.
Working across the King Valley, Sarah is passionate about animal welfare and sustainable land use. Being part of the co operative allows Sarah’s family farm to stay independent while contributing to something larger, a network of farmers supporting one another.
The McKillop's
“We’re not just producing milk, we’re building something for the next generation.”
Daniel joined the co op early, driven by a belief in collaboration and local ownership.
With a background in agriculture and a focus on innovation, Daniel is always looking for better ways to farm. From pasture management to herd health, the goal is to continuously improve, not just for today, but for the long-term future of the farm.

The Hick's-Sagrera's
“This region gives us everything we need, it’s our job to look after it.”
Raised in the foothills of the valley, Ian knows the land and the community inside out.
Ian returned to dairy farming after exploring other industries, bringing both experience and perspective back to the farm. Working within the co op allows Ian to focus on quality production while staying connected to the region and the people who make it thrive.
